My parents Jay and Mary Ann McLochlin. I am lucky to have had such wonderful people raise me. They sacraficed and gave me opportunities that helped make me successful.
From my mom I learned compassion and caring about others. She has put everyone else first her whole life. She will help anyone, at anytime. This has instilled in me the importance of empathy and public service. Her patience taught me to be a more tolerant person.
From my dad I learned to work hard and never give up. He is the hardest working and wisest person I know. I ask myself all the time... what would dad do? Much of the advice I give students...is the same advice he has given me over the years. His wisdom has made me a better teacher.
There will always be people with more money than you,
There will always be people with more opportunity than you,
There will always be people with more talent than you,
BUT if you are willing to outwork them...then YOU WILL BE SUCCESSFUL!
