At Area X Forestry Contest the John Glenn FFA Chapter qualified 3 teams for state competition. This meant that of the 6 eligible teams from Area X, half of them were from John Glenn! This group has a great future ahead of them. Great job Falcons!

For the second straight year a soils team from John Glenn qualified for the very tough state competition. The state contest was held in Elkhart county this year. To qualify, a team had to place in the top 5 at the Area X Contest, which is always tough because some of the top soils teams in the state are from our area.
In addition to the state and area contest, this team took part in the North Miami Invitational Contest.
This team has made huge strides in the last 2 years. At first we had a hard time competing at the local level, but through hard work and determination...this group has gained on the competition and are knocking on the door of accomplishing even greater things.
Congrats to Maggie Shoue, Travis Betz, Jeanna Hathaway, and Stormy Risner for making it to state for 2 straight years!
